KNOW-HOW

ingredients

The ingredients used, their origin, the way they are harvested and extracted are all criteria that contribute to making a great perfume.

Each of our creations is characterized by the use of carefully selected and processed ingredients, just like LMR (Laboratoire Monique Remy), a forerunner in the sourcing and processing of ingredients.

Our expertise in the use of natural raw materials protects their life cycle, from harvesting to fragrance expression.

IRIS

Blue Gold

IRIS

The aroma of Iris is subtle, suave and bewitching, combining woody and vegetal notes with a subtle touch of powdery, floral and refined notes.

Iris is an herbaceous plant with rhizomes. Iris flowers can vary in color, from white to yellow to violet. After three years in the ground, the rhizomes are harvested by hand or with special tools and dried for a further three years, ready for extraction of their essential oil.

In mythological accounts, the flowering iris evokes Iris, the divine messenger.

THE VETIVER

THE ESSENCE OF EARTH

THE VETIVER

The scent of Vetiver is earthy, woody, smoky with green and slightly bitter nuances. Vetiver also offers notes of leather, tobacco and sometimes even vanilla, adding to its olfactory complexity.

Vetiver is a herbaceous plant native to India. It is cultivated in many tropical and subtropical regions around the world for its essential oil-rich roots.
Vetiver is characterized by its long, narrow leaves and fibrous roots, which are particularly fragrant and rich in aromatic compounds.

Long characteristic of men's fragrances, Vetiver has since established itself as one of the top notes in women's fragrances, and has now joined the non-gendered compositions of niche perfumeries.

ENCENS

DIVINE SMELL

ENCENS

Incense has a woody, resinous scent, sometimes slightly sweet, spicy or balsamic. Some incense has floral, herbaceous or even fruity nuances.

Incense comes from the resin of trees produced in response to wounds or incisions made in their bark. The resin hardens on contact with air to form incense tears or granules. They are often found in semi-arid or arid regions, notably in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

In ancient Arabia and the Roman Empire, Frankincense was so precious that it was used as a form of currency for trade. Considered a valuable commodity, it was often exchanged for other goods or used to pay taxes.
