When we talk about perfume, the terms Eau de Parfum and Eau de Toilette are frequently used. These two classifications of a perfume differ in terms of sillage and remanence. The sillage is the olfactory impression perceived in the air and the remanence refers to the holding of the perfume in time.
An Eau de Toilette has a lower concentration and can therefore be considered a more discreet fragrance.
