What is your strongest olfactory memory?

The scent of a fresh baked cherry pie from my childhood. In our garden, there was a big cherry tree and mom made pies almost every Sunday. Even today, the scent of this pie recalls the happiest family memories.

What is the craziest declaration that has been made to you?

Many years ago, I received a message from an anonymous account on my social network with a song dedicated to me. And that was astonishing.

What is the most unusual place you have ever been asked on a date?

The most exciting date was in Georgia, in Kazbegi mountain. We were surrounded by a breathtaking beauty. Drinking wine and rambling with an amazing view.

Is perfume a source of inspiration in your creative process at work or in your life?

Fragrance creates a special atmosphere, so it’s always an important part of the creative process. My imagination is related to memories. Each memory has its own unique molecular “signature.”

What scent would you like to make into a fragrance?

A smell of the first “burnt” straw boater hat.

Perfume and Seduction: Does this sound still relevant to you?

For me, it was hard to “scent” the seduction in the past few monts because I usually worn masks.

Tell us about a moment in your life when you wished for time to stop and that it would last forever?

Most probably my first fashion show.

What are your plans for this year?

I am thinking about launching a new creation. Hopefully Ruslan Baginskiy Hats will surprise you in 2021!
