The words of the
perfumer:

"The structure of this fragrance is based around a heart made from absolute narcissus, which is one of the most beautiful raw materials in a perfumer’s palette. I used both its manly Woody and Leathery side and its feminine Floral facade but also an intangible and dreamlike aspect that is a bit Musky and a bit Milky that ties everything together in harmony."

Of Love

“J’ai l’air de ce que je suis” reveals itself only to those who are worthy. J.R. invites a tête-à-tête, up-close and in person. Simple, fresh, discreet. Citrusy, delicate, woody. J.R. is not desperate to seduce, entertain or spend all its time being vain. It has a kind of restraint which goes against the tide. Restful, not restive, for a change.

Evocation

D'ORSAY imagines special fragrances, evoking the universality of the state of love and exploring its many facets: caring love, free, paradoxical, ardent, adventurous, tender, striking, impulsive, sincere, spiritual, secret, tactile, unwavering… D'ORSAY perfumes are designed for couples, echoing the first historic fragrance designed in 1830 by Alfred d'Orsay for him and Marguerite Blessington. Each creation is named after an index sentence, signed with the initials of a personality whose identity is left to the imagination of each.
