En bas de chez toi
00:30 Pleasant, familiar, primal: the smell of wet earth after a dry spell. Imagine the moment: it hasn’t rained for eight years, we step out for a walk. A drop of rain falls, kissing the concrete. What a wonderful smell. A minute later, it starts to pour. You might as well take it home, the scent of petrichor.

D’Orsay candles are made with a blend of mineral-based and vegetable- based waxes which are scientifically formulated to achieve optimal combustion and olfactory diffusion.
USE AND CARE
How to make the most of your D'Orsay candle: - When using it for the first time, light the candle until its entire surface becomes liquid (for about 4 hours); - If you burn the candle for a short time, you risk creating a partial melting bath in the wax. For subsequent use, we recommend a maximum burning time of 3 to 4 hours. Do not allow the candle to burn for more than 4 hours at a time. This will keep the wick intact and ensure optimum combustion - do not move the burning candle. Do not move the burning candle. Do not allow the candle to burn for more than 4 hours at a time during subsequent use. Before each use, carefully cut the wick so that it does not exceed 5 mm and make sure it is clean; do not leave a burning candle unattended; keep the candle out of the reach of children and animals.
Pleasant, familiar, primal, the smell of the first drop of rain.
This particular scent even has its own name: petrichor.
Let’s imagine for a moment. It is a summer’s night; the ground hasn’t seen rain for eight years. The tarmac is burning hot, but we don’t care, we decide to walk. After a few steps, we admire the sky: Isn’t it wonderful?
Then the first drop falls, emanating that particular scent, the promise of renaissance from H20.
Since the dawn of time, we have been able to recognise that scent from several miles away. Why?
That special moment after the storm is so ephemeral.
The reason why this fragrance is best kept at home.
